Last month Kuhama was invited to take part in the exciting Global Feast project in Stratford Town Hall. As the guest chef for East African night, guests feasted on Courvoisier tamarind cocktails, with canapes and three courses. As the first night to officially sell out we welcome the chance to feast with you all again at our next supper. Some of our recipes are now online!
The project was a collaboration between international food-lovers, architects and food curator Ms Marmite. Guests were be seated at a specially constructed 'Worldscape' table representing the contours of the world and seating 80 people. The table is a giant sculptural model of the world 15-metres long, 6 metres wide and over 2 metres high. Each night celebrated different corners of the globe and their culinary quirks. We were lucky to have Crofton Black DJ-ing a night of 70s Afro Beat. There were individually crafted seats, plates, canapes and cocktails for the whole event. See below for some of our reviews!
